John Wesley Dean III served as the White House President Richard Nixon from July 1970 until April 1973. He was involved in the Watergate Burglaries and then the Watergate scandal cover-up. He pleaded guilty to one felony account in exchange for being a key witness for the prosecution. After Watergate, Dean moved on to become an investment banker, lecturer and author. His latest book, The Nixon Defense: What He Knew and When He Knew It, was published this July. In this book, Dean takes a closer look at Nixon’s recordings and puts aside any speculation by giving an account of what actually happened in regard to Nixon’s involvement Watergate.
